Head Attorney

Kimberly L. Copeland

As the founder of Kimberly L. Copeland & Associates in Jesup, Georgia, Kimberly Copeland has become one of the most respected criminal lawyers in Georgia. Her impeccable two-decades track record and zeal to win cases have made her and her firm a formidable brand. Her talent as a courtroom litigator has been appreciated by both clients and adversaries. Kimberly is known for her focused deliberation to achieve only one result – a win.

Kimberly L. Copeland completed her undergraduate work with honors at Florida International University, Miami, Florida, where she received her B.S. (1991) with a major in Criminal Justice and Legal studies with a minor in Political Science. She went on to graduate from Texas Southern University/Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 1994. She specializes in criminal, civil, family, personal injury, immigration, international and estate law and has been practicing for more than 25 years. Currently, she caters to Southern Georgia and is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Georgia, the Middle and Southern District Courts, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

When not in her lawyer’s hat, Kimberly L. Copeland loves to read, travel, and spend time with her three children.

Associate Attorney

Liberty C. Wong

Liberty C. Wong is currently an associate attorney at Kimberly L. Copeland & Associates, LLC. She focuses her practice on Family and Civil Law cases, and she has been working for Kimberly for almost six years. Liberty is highly motivated and hardworking with almost eight years of supervisory experience in a corporate legal environment at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Davao City, Philippines. She is always willing to extend her skill set if it means better benefiting her clients and her own work methods.

Liberty C. Wong was born in the Philippines and lived there up until 2013. She completed her undergraduate degree for a Bachelor of Arts in Management Economics in 1993 from Ateneo de Manila University, and she went on to earn a four-year law degree in 1997 from Ateneo de Davao University. She earned a membership to the Philippine Bar in May of 1999. She then became an Associate Lawyer at Cariaga Law Offices in the Philippines and worked many legal positions at 5 different businesses from May 1999 to August 2013. In 2013, Liberty C. Wong moved to the U.S. with her son. Six months after moving to the U.S., she began working for Kimberly Copeland in February of 2014 as a paralegal. While working for Kimberly, Liberty completed two semesters at Georgia State University from August 2016 to May 2017 and earned a Master’s in Law. In May 2018, Liberty became authorized to practice law in the state of Georgia, and she began working for Kimberly as an associate attorney. She has been practicing law for more than 20 years, and she currently caters to Southern Georgia and is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Georgia.

When she’s not working her cases, you can usually find her spending time with her friends and family, especially her son.
